I created Heart of the Forest to bring people into a different type of "plant medicine ceremony" - one that is facilitated in nature, rooted in Earth-based rituals, and offers a richer interpersonal experience. I want to give people more than just a house full of strangers that you barely talk to.

• A Nature-guided Introspective Adventure •
An immersive ceremonial experience, Heart of the Forest takes you on a deep and vulnerable dive into your innermost realms. Medicine carriers, ceremonialists, and musicians Etheric & Bri of the Light will invite you into a world of sacred medicine ceremonies, supportive community connection, live acoustic medicine music, personal reflective practices, Earth-based rituals, and much more. This gathering will be purposefully intimate, and is only open to 12 participants. Sacramental offerings will include facilitated ceremonies with Grandfather Medicine, Rapé, Sananga, and Cacao.
This gathering takes place June 20th through 22nd in the mountains of Ojai, California. A beautiful reconnection to self and nature, Heart of the Forest is a potent opportunity to detach from the monotony of everyday life and reinvigorate the body, heart, mind, and spirit.
• What You Receive •
The intention of this experience is to bring you into deep connection with your heart and soul by disconnecting from your typical environment and immersing you in nature.
You are warmly welcomed as you are, whether that means joyous, sad, anxious, angry, etc., and you will be received with open, loving arms. All that we ask of you is to come with an open mind in return, willing to follow our lead into the vulnerability of transparent interaction, and honest self-expression. You will have the opportunity to commune with several plant teachers throughout this experience, including Grandfather Huachuma, Rapé, Sananga, and Cacao. Your heart, mind, and body will be gently opened through this experience, ready to give and receive loving awareness effortlessly, eagerly, and joyously.
We will also provide all necessary meals for this immersion. This includes dinner on Friday and Saturday, and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Meals will be nutritious, simple, and organic, and you are welcomed to bring any specific food that you would like to have for yourself or to share with the group. It's always fun to share food potluck style, so please don't hesitate to bring something if you'd like.
Your integrative process is important to us, so you will also receive post-immersion integration opportunities to ensure that you retain the value of what is received in sacred space with us.

• Who is this For? •
The invitation to join us in sacred, connected space is open to those that feel called to explore themselves and others in new, conscious, authentic ways. All are welcome here, with the understanding that the container we create is curated to be a safe, welcoming, and empowering cocoon.
We have several intentions for creating this experience:
- Bringing you together with others who want to create and be a part of conscious, loving community.
- Delivering the tools, modalities, and medicines to you that have profoundly changed our own lives, as well as the lives of those that we serve.
- Helping you to dive deep into your heart and psyche in order to gain a clear understanding of who you are, and what brings you purpose.
- Facilitating healing to release illness, process trauma, transmute dense emotions, and align mind, body, heart, and soul.
- Creating a fertile foundation for you to sow the seeds of and give birth to a new self and life.
- Providing a nurturing and enriching space for you to be witnessed, held, supported, and served through your powerful process of unfolding and embodying your truest self.

• The Exchange •
The donation asked for this experience is $750 per person. This includes a consultation prior to the ceremony, all facilitated experiences during the immersion, camping space on the property, 2 organic breakfasts, 2 organic dinners, and scheduled integrative support following the immersion (both privately and in group sessions). Attendees will be responsible for additional food or alternate accommodations, if those are desired.
This is a camping retreat, so guests will need to either bring their own accommodations or rent them from us. We have supplies to rent out camping sets that include a tent, a 30-degree sleeping bag, and a camping light. You will need to bring your own blankets & pillows if those are desired. We ask an additional $100 to rent a camping set from us.
To reserve your spot, the questionnaire on the registration form must be completed and a $250 non-refundable deposit is to be paid. Once these are received, we will reach out to you to schedule a phone consultation (if you are new to Etheric's work, you may contact him via the link at the top of this page to schedule a consultation prior to paying the deposit). The remainder of your payment is to be paid in cash on your arrival on the first day of the gathering.

Medicine Man & Organizer
Born with a natural connection to his spiritual gifts, Etheric is well-versed in the Healing Arts and Psychic Arts. A ritualist at heart from a very young age, he specializes in the curation of spiritual gatherings facilitated both with and without plant sacraments. He is a Medicine Musician and gifted ceremonialist, and the amounts of care, attention to detail, integrity, intention, and reverence that go into his experiences are undeniably palpable.
Etheric is passionate about educating people on the use of herbs & plants as medicines, and teaches people how to heal their traumas & illnesses while unlocking their own spiritual gifts. He has been studying with plant teachers for over 7 years and facilitating various types of ceremonial experiences for 6 years. His plant sacrament facilitation includes work with Sananga, Rapé, Grandfather, Grandmother, Niños Santos, Cacao, and Blue Lotus.
Following the guidance of his plant teacher allies, Etheric created the structure for this immersion with passion in his gut, unconditional love in his heart, visions of transformation in his mind, and intentions of profound healing and clarity for all that he serves. Etheric is a queer person of color and welcomes those of any identity into his experiences.

Medicine Woman & Musician
Bri Summers aka "Bri of the Light" is a heart-centered medicine musician, Reiki-attuned intuitive healer, and certified Priestess. She is fiercely dedicated to using her gifts to manifest the new Earth. Fueled by intentions of healing, awakening and connecting, Bri's heart songs inspire growth, increase awareness, and integrate the idea of oneness. Her personal process of incepting light into the shadows by diving into the darkness has given her an ability to hold sacred space and be an anchor of Love amidst storms of fear.
Bri is grateful to serve her tribe, the Earth, and Creator with her abilities in music, healing, and energy work and looks forward into how our choices today shape life for the generations to come. With her intention set upon the goal of ascension through personal work supported by musical medicine, healing arts, and plant medicines, her vision of a future of unity and harmony together with all life becomes crystal clear.

• Michael •
Chef & Creative Doula
A creator of delicious dishes, Michael will be our chef for Heart of the Forest. When preparing food with limited supplies, in the outdoors, for 15 people, having someone resourceful, creative, and emotionally nourishing is a necessity - and Michael is all of that, and so much more! He will provide us with two organic breakfasts and two organic dinners during our immersion, along with his natural ability to create safe, compassionate, and vulnerable spaces of support and expression.
Michael is a lover of transformational experiences and a steward to the land, sea, and all of its inhabitants. As a sailor, rock climber, and firekeeper, he dances in the omnipotence of the elements and finds great purpose in connecting people with the natural world as a catalyst for reconnecting with themselves. He acts as a liaison between humans and Pachamama (Mother Nature) herself, gently guiding people into the innate luminosity of their hearts and souls.
• Our SAcred Space •
• Private, Quiet, Secluded Land •
A short 30-minute drive outside of downtown Ojai, California, we will host this intimate experience in on a spacious 45-acre private property. With a beautiful and unique geometric building that will house us for our gathering times, multiple showers and toilets, and a dedicated kitchen structure, we will get to experience the healing serenity of the quiet outdoors while still having some creature-comforts that we all appreciate when camping! This unique location in the mountains actually has a clear view of the coast & ocean, while being secluded in the nearly-neighborless wilderness.
Something great about this location is that while it is private and secluded, it is such a short drive to the lovely town of Ojai. We recommend stopping in town on your way to the property to get gas, stock up on snacks & water, and procure any last-minute items that you may have realized you want.
• Tent & Car Camping •
We have lots of camping locations spread throughout our spacious camping site. Whether you are sleeping in your comfy car or setting up a tent, there will be space for you to find the area that you like. Our site provides plenty of shade with lots of trees, and there are also uncovered patches if you'd prefer to have the morning Sun kiss your face. Our camping spots are a very short walk to the bathrooms, sink area, and temple.
• The Temple •
Would you prefer to sleep in the same space that we will be using to gather and have group experiences? No problem! Bring all of your bedding into the temple and setup wherever you'll want to be for the duration of your stay with us. The temple is large enough to fit everyone in attendance, just keep in mind that this will the space that we initiate all of our ceremonies and share our meals together.
